I want to post-process the output of an x-server. In detail I want to take e.g. the desktop view of any windowmanager, apply some OpenGL image manipulation functions to it and then send the manipulated image to the graphic card. What is the best way to realize this behavior ? Does there exist any documentation for further readings ?
