After upgrading from 4.3 to 4.4 I found my mode of 1152x864 was exceeding video ram, which led me to s3_driver:248 or so to the s3AccelLinePitches array. - I have no clue which sizes are valid or not, but adding a 1152 worked accellerated on my setup. (card detects as '86c968 [Vision 968 VRAM]'
