Re: [apt-cacher-ng] Resurrect dead package

2022-12-23 Thread Alexandre Detiste
I've refreshed the packaging and fixed bugs.

https://src.fedoraproject.org/fork/adetiste/rpms/apt-cacher-ng :
-> this integrate and builds on Frédéric Pierret's fixes.

https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/adetiste/apt-cacher-ng/build/5178188/

(I need it for RHEL 8, so I'll need to backport c-ares somehow)

You are welcome.

If you are interested to test it, you can use my COPR repository:
fepitre/fedora. Latest builds corresponds to my master branch version 3.5-2:
https://src.fedoraproject.org/fork/fepitre/rpms/apt-cacher-ng/commits/master
where since yesterday I've fixed few things to make it work. In this case, any
feedback would help for the review process. Currently I'm testing it on Fedora
32 for caching Debian repositories.

with successful builds on my testing COPR repository for F32+ and EPEL8:

I plan to (already) use this package for my current work on reproducible builds.

Is the procedure described in

 still available for such case?

Thank you.
