If you just need to install glances, you can use my copr:
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/tartare/glances/ which have an
up to date version for fedora, el7 and el8.

I also did a local build for EPEL 8 but it needs two python packages:
psutil & future

Both built fine from Fedora master so when I get a minute I may file bugs
to request EPEL 8 branches.

Non-responsive maintainer: glances

Howdy y'all,

The glances package prints out a warning that the user should upgrade
it via pip.  This is wrong for obvious reasons.  This issue was first
reported in bugzilla on 2019-11-18 [0].  I opened a pull request to
fix it 2019-12-22 [1].  The maintainer has not responded to the
bugzilla or the pull request.  I filed the required non-responsive
maintainer check bug on 2020-05-11 [2].  Does anyone know of another
way to contact Edouard (madko)?
