Hi,
I noticed that some modules are going into the marketplace, for example Qt
Multimedia.
Would you consider doing so for QtWayland Compositor?
The compositor API would surely benefit from a faster release cycle.
Getting new protocols and updates sooner instead of every 6 months would be

Hi,
The QtWayland module contains the Wayland platform abstraction and a nice
library to make compositors using Qt and QtQuick.
QtWayland Compositor is being used by LG, Jolla, embedded projects and Liri.
The client part is an integral part of those projects and of course it's
fundamental for

Does this affect shipping Qt apps in the store?
I'm not a Windows expert but as far as I remember only UWP apps are
supposed to go there, but I can be wrong.

Hi,
I'd like to know if you have plans of making Qt Quick Templates 2 a public
API and allow people to write new controls with C++ without using a private
library.

I too feel like thanks are in order to the Qbs team.
Hopefully CMake integration with QtCreator will quickly improve and include
mobile platforms as well as embedded and desktop.

Hi,
We are starting to have QtWayland patches that require at least Wayland 1.6
available, such as:
- https://codereview.qt-project.org/#/c/112141/
- https://codereview.qt-project.org/#/c/144891/
We need to update CI to at least Wayland 1.6 as

Looks like it's broken for qtwayland too.

Though I don't get what ci-osx109-x64-09 has to do with qtwayland
which is Linux only.

Hi,
I was reading xdg-shell, a Wayland protocol that's been in development
for some time now and it's going to replace wl_shell_surface.
For who doesn't know Wayland, basically this is a protocol that
introduces more high level concepts over plain surfaces such as
popups, minimize, maximize,

I was running some applications on the qwindow-compositor example and

the platform theme plugin not being loaded at all.
Looking at QGuiApplication I have seen how loading works:

Hi,
the wayland-compositor is nowadays called Weston and lives in the Wayland
Repository.
If you want to build wayland (which is a requirement to build qtwayland I
think), be sure to fetch the correct SHA1 from the QtWayland Repo as this is
