Hola,
I thought the chief maintainer of a module had final say over the
maintenance/development of a module and was given the power to revoke
power if it is impossible to collaborate with an individual.
The ex-communicated individual can then fork and continue to wage a
meritocratic war as necessa
Is it crazy/impossible to propose moving the QValidator class from QtGui to

have a project right now (an ORM) that could very much benefit from these
classes. It doesn't seem that the implementation depends on QtGui at all,
Hello Denis,
first of all thank you for your efforts, I think the serial port module is a
really nice addition to the Qt Project and would not have happened without
your initiative.
I'm really sad to hear of your struggles and would have hoped that we work in

Hello all
Recent discussions have brought this to my mind. As some of you may know, I'm
working on the open governance rules for a different project and I'm reusing
many of what has been successful for the Qt Project. That includes its
hierarchy.
So this is a refresher:
The Qt Project is not

Supporting Allan. I've known him for years and, for as long as I have, among
other things he was working on, he's been doing something related to khtml or
webkit. So I don't doubt his expertise.

And today marks weekday 15 since the proposal, with no negative
comments. I guess that means it's time to congratulate Andrew.
Can someone please grant the necessary JIRA/Gerrit rights?
Thanks,

Thanks Simon! I was thinking/hoping that with the announced move from
Webkit to Chromium there would already be a solid plan on how to support
the mobile platforms. Now that I know there isn't, I'll practice more
patience and/or look again into wrapping the native WebView.

Hi,
I'm stepping down as maintainer of QtWebKit in the Qt project and I would like
to propose Allan as new maintainer.
He's a veteran with many years of development and maintenance experience from
KDE, khtml and Qt. He's also the guy responsible for the QtWebKit 2.3 release
for Qt 4.8 - a very

Sorry to bother again, but what's the plan now regarding QQuick2 WebView
on Android? Is it Webkit? Chromium/Blink? Nothing? Something else? And
when?
Thanks!
