In looking through the how-to, what happens if I've used Darrell's
How-to and changed the default locations of the mail sub-folders so that
they're all off the users's home directory and not under the mail directory?

Does anyone have this mirrored somewhere?
Thanks.

I might be interested. I am currently using ez-ipupdate, manually installed and
configured for two different virtual domains on my e-smith box. Basically two
different config files. I did have a problem with the mail server settings
getting wiped out and EasyDNS gave me a modified beta version of
oops! meant to send this to the list.

Part of the problem is that if someone is using IE and goes to an infected box, it
will attach an .eml file to the webpage. IE will automatically open this as an
outlook express email which has a file attachment called Readme.exe. If this is

I'm assuming that the subscription fees are if the end user buys direct from
Mitel/E-smith. I would also assume Mitel will charge the integrators less for
the subscription and they they set their own price for their customers, just
like in the past. Service link is a value add for all.
It doesn't

I setup Post-Nuke in a secondary I-bay and it went off without a hitch except
for having to move the files up one directory level and chmod a few things.
What type of problems did you run into with the primary?

I believe it to be load related, at least on my system. I'm also getting alot
more of the "another fetchmail process is running..." messages since the
install. For the record, I'm running Esmith 4.1.2 on a P233mmx w/128 mb ram and
a 2 gig hard drive.

I'm getting these same error messages and the .02 was my first install attempt.
Only my error messages are coming in as emails to the admin account.

One of the boxes I admin which is on roadrunner cable has had over 1000 hits
since 8/5. The kscable.com network is becoming saturated.

Just a side note, I too am on PPPoE on SBC and I can't do traceroutes on my
esmith box either, but I can on the clients.

Check out Darrell May's how-to on moving mail folder locations, it explains
everything.

Darrell,
I don't know if you want to put a note in the how-to or not, but in step one, if
the reader has followed your other how-to on changing mail folder locations,
their root location for mail folders created by the user will be in the ~
directory itself.

I noticed today on 3 different esmith boxes that I've been getting:
