I think the issue here is that the Lucene indexer executed at startup does
not have the time to finish before we executed all the tests. We need to
make sure to monitor the status of XWiki in this thread and all other
daemon thread, this one is just more visible.

FYI I've created a repository in contrib with the basis of an
experimental spatial module [1].
There is also a design document I've started working on a couple of
weeks ago on the dev wiki [2].
The basic idea in one line is to be able to store and query geometries
