[Dhis2-devs] [Bug 494415] Re: Report table exports/views should not have decimals for data element values

2010-02-04 Thread jason.p.pickering
Actually, I think this bug is a bit misleading. I believe actually the values in the report table are coerced to 1 decimal place. I beleive that the extension of an integer to one decimal place is actually of little consequence, however, there can be indicator values, expressed as a ratio, which

This will save the users a lot of time and frustration. https://blueprints.launchpad.net/dhis2/+spec/subtotals-in-expressions In general I think we need to make the dimensional model work better and smoother throughout the system. There are too many places where we make it too complicated for

2010-02-04 Thread Ola Hodne Titlestad
Hi, Ok, I agree that it should be up to the user to decide this through a report table setting. Sorry, wasn't thinking of indicators here, just data element reports. Anyway, it should be up to the user. Note that when designing reports in iReport or BIRT it takes a lot of extra time to add

Re: [Dhis2-devs] [Blueprint] Support for data element totals and subtotals in expressions like indicator formulas

2010-02-04 Thread Ola Hodne Titlestad
A quick fix to my frustration if with this blueprint takes too long would be to allow for multiple selection when designing indicator formulas. E.g. select all the DE+catoptioncombos you need in the list at the same time and then the formula will automatically lists these with a '+' between each

[Dhis2-devs] [Bug 517047] Re: DHIS 1.4 file imports ignores the OrgUnit code field

2010-02-04 Thread jason.p.pickering
There is no uniqueness constraint in DHIS1.4 on the OrgUnitCode field. therefore, the uniqueness constraint in DHIS 2 should be relaxed, to allow data from 1.4 to be imported. A data integrity rule could then be added to DHIS2 to inform the user that there are duplicate codes. Since the code field
