Hi Naveen,
You can probably run both applications on either db engine. DHIS2 will work
fine on MySql. As to how to configure the laptop, it is important to give
Java or Tomcat enough memory and PermGen space, as specified by the
JAVA_OPTS and/or CATALINA_OPTS environment variables, see the first li
Great!!! That should sort out any problem with MySQL !!

Hi just realized that the problem is that "maxvalue" is a reserved word in
mysql and is used as column name in that table. I have committed a fix and
back-ported to 2.11, you can get the updated file on dhis2.org in a couple
of hours.

I think it would be as it would allow users to consistently apply the
same legends to allow easy comparisons between maps. The current system
also doesn't seem very intuitive to my mind.
One other question - I can't find a way to assign the ability to a user

True, there is no other way to that atm. A fixed point size option for each
legend in a predefined legend set would be useful?

Damn you Firefox!!!
Jan you may be best placed to answer my next question - how do you set
the size that point data should be displayed when using a pre-defined
legend set in the GIS module? To explain a bit more - if I display some
health facility data using an automatic legend I can change t

We have sorted the problem out. and We noted that Using Mysql as the DBMS
does NOT create one Table (minmaxdataelement)
I have manually Created a similar table (based on PostgreSQL) for Mysql
(See Attached).
Our Concern is is there a way of Incorporating this Table for MySQL so that

Hi Dan, the "selected" box drops to the next line right below the
"available" box as FF seems to misrender them slightly (this is probably my
fault, but I prefer to blame the browser).

Seems to be Firefox specific - same behaviour whether Win or Linux OS
with FF versions 17.0.1 and FF 19.0. Will try and use Chrome!

Just a quick question, we need to run DHIS2 and OpenMRS on one laptop with all
functionalities of both systems for learning /research purpose.
Now two questions one is what should be the best configuration for this laptop
and second should we need to install two database i.e. postgreSQL and MyS
