I agree with your approach for those examples, although using the data
element aggregation type might not cater for all types of indicators (ref

Hi Randy
I am not sure who is responsible for maintaining that portal demo, but
perhaps one of the reasons it has fallen into disrepair is that this is
really not a good example to follow. If you look at the page source you
will notice that the credentials to access the objects (admin:district)
Hi Sarah,
Thanks for clarifying. This is exactly the portal demo I was referring to.
We would like to embed such objects in the MOH public website here in
Rwanda.

I think Randy is referring to the demo of DHIS 2 objects embedded in an
external website, referred to and linked to as a "portal":
https://play.dhis2.org/portal/
I also have noticed that this no longer functions, and that embedding
analytic objects externally seems generally less supported
Dear Randy,
For demo you can use:
https://play.dhis2.org/2.29/dhis-web-dashboard/index.html
username: admin
password: district
it works. if not then clear your cookies on the browser.

Hi all,
It seems the demo portal on DHIS2.org is not working - no data appears.
Has this been abandoned? If not you should probably check the API settings
and probably update the graphic with the new 2.30 graphic objects.

Would be nice if the different versions could be stored in the database -
perhaps with a timestamp for each time it has been restarted? I guess it is
in the log, but few people store logs along their backups.

Which version are you on? in older versions of dhis2 it was still using our
struts actions for user edits... which means no metadata imports (using the
new importer)
I think it might be available from 2.30 only

Hi all,
Is there any script to use in order to identify which war version a backup
file was last started up with? And if so from which version is this
available?

I’m not sure because, yesterday I tried it only in demo but nothing.
