After speaking with the i18n gurus who wrote the software which runs the translation server, they suggest to put comments into file. I think this is about as good as we can do at this point. We could at least try and point you in the right direction. However, given the nature of the application,

To go in the same direction as Knut, another difficulty with the translation server is to 'locate' the string in its 'context' in order to be able to translate it accurately. Is there not a way, Jason, to locate the strings to translate in the user interface? Or to group them by menu ? Kind

Good point, let me clarify about Google and Yandex Translate. Sometimes, these services get things right. It also gets a lot of stuff very wrong, but it may be useful for translators. If they find it useful, they can use it. The "translation memory" feature will actually present human translated
