Hello Gérard,
The event report app has two tabs for showing aggregated values and events. So 
if you want to see the individual records, make sure that you click on the 
events tab and update. it will display the list for you.

[Dhis2-users] Removing duplicates in aggregating TEI

Dear All,
I am not sure if this feature is already implemented in DHIS2 but hopefully 
someone will guide me.
We are currently using DHIS2 for M of a project for improving services for 
vulnerable populations. specifically, we use tracker capture app to keep track 
of services each program beneficially receives on a monthly/quarterly basis and 
a beneficially can receive the same service more than once in the different 
months/quarters of the same year.
The challenge we are experiencing is double counting when we aggregate to 
determine the number of beneficiaries who received a particular service at the 
end of the year. This means that if a beneficiary received the same service in 
Quarter 1 and Quarter 3, he/she will be counted twice at the end of the year. 
The workaround is that we download and individually remove duplicates.

Is anyone experiencing the same? we are implementing DHIS2v2.28.

If you updated the war file,  1) check if your indicators, data element 
catoptions etc are still intact in the maintenance app. if they are there then 
you have a different issue.2) If they are not there, then check verify from the 
back-end if the database is ok3) You can then revert to your old war file -> 
this worked for me and update with the most recent version thereafter if 
interested.
please note that my version is 2.28

[Dhis2-users] Org unit not loading in the data entry section

Dear Colleagues,
I am being challenged by my system whereby when i open the data entry app and 
click on the org unit name, it does not load in the data entry section to 
enable me select the dataset for entering data. Has anyone experienced this 
before and can advise me? I am using v2.28 build c953ce1.
I have also attached a copy of the log file.

Hi Gerald,
May be you could try creating two attribute options for the dataset as RC 
School and LC
School. That way, you will be having two blank forms for every orgunit/period.

[Dhis2-users] Android Tracker Capture app doen not allow complete on hidden mandatory fields

Dear Developers,
We are using the DHIS2 Tracker capture app compatible with v2.27 to conduct a 
survey. The survey design has some skip logic integrated in the tool and 
program stage. Most of the questions are mandatory but for example if the 
person is not available for the assessment, the enumerator selects not assessed 
and the jump hides the other mandatory fields and then the enumerator is 
supposed to complete the event. This was tested using the browser and it works 
perfectly well however when using the app, it hides the fields but does not 
allow to complete the event and reports that there are missing mandatory fields.
The work around is to flag this and wait for the app to sync and we complete 
the event from the browser which takes more time.

Kindly advise me if there is a better way i can accomplish this or if it is 
something that hasn't been supported yet. Thank you.

This happened to my instance a few weeks ago after updating the war file and 
when i restored to old one it worked well. May be it could be a problem with 
the latest 2.26 war file.

The reason why i asked this was because when i tried to test the new version, i 
realized that the relationships in tracker had disappeared/broken. I am going 
to reset it up on my testing server just to make sure that it was not from the 
database restoration process and get back to you.

[Dhis2-users] Hierarchy not displayed in Event Reports

Dear Community,
When using the event reports app and select show hierarchy in table options, 
the app does not display the hierarchy in case a lower organization unit level 
was chosen as is the case with the Pivot table app. This makes it difficult to 
follow up on individual cases when the report (individual) is downloaded by the 
users.
Does anyone have an alternative option of achieving this?

Dear Stanley,
You could create a user role that does not allow to  add new TEIs and assign it 
to users allocated to that site. this way they will provide services for only 
the registered persons.

[Dhis2-users] Broken relationship link

Complements of the day!
In testing v2.26 Tracker Capture, i realized that when you click on the 
relationship link, it does not take you to the linked TEI dashboard instead it 
displays a blank screen. could this be a problem from my end or a version 
issue?

[Dhis2-users] Support on Tracker program rules

Dear Community,

 

I am writing program rules in tracker (DHIS 2.25) but quite not sure why there 
are not working for program attributes. I have tried to follow the user guide 
but I could probably be missing out on something and someone could please 
advise me. For example I would like to prevent entry of numbers in the name 
field by preventing completion if the rule is violated but the following rule 
is not working for me: 

 

!d2:validatePattern(A{Family Name},'[^\\d]*').

 

If you can also please advise me how I can set the following program rules:

1.   Validation pattern for the format: #-HH--## (# represents 
digit)

2.   Limit a text field to exactly 16 characters (not more not less).

Dear Stanley, 
If you meant downloading meta data from the main server to the tracker capture 
app,  go to menu->Settings->Synchronise with server 
Otherwise if it's from tracker to the server, you can still do the same or set 
the desired sync frequency and the app will automatically do it for you.  Once 
this is successful, you should see your data on the server.

Dear Stanley, 
Please make sure that the :- user is assigned to that organisation unit -  the 
data collection form is assigned to the orgunit - from my experience, I 
realised that tracker capture app does not support the branching tree of 
orgunits the reason to why the assigned orgunits should be at the lowest level 
where data entry takes place.

That is strange. We don't have any cap of organisation units that a user is 
allowed to have. How many orgUnits is in your tree?

[Dhis2-users] Tracker Capture Sync Error

We just started using the tracker capture Android app to collect data from the 
sites but we are experiencing an error where data is not synchronising with the 
server. It reports a 403 status error. Does anyone has an idea on how to

[Dhis2-users] DHIS2.24 linking to a wrong database

Dear All,
I am setting up DHIS2 to run on Ubuntu 16.04 server and PostgreSQL database but 
after setting up all the configuration settings in the dhis.conf and exporting 
the environmental variables in the tomcat-dhis instance, it still points to a 
different H2 database 
(dhis2;DB_CLOSE_DELAY=-1;MVCC=TRUE;ALIAS_COLUMN_NAME=TRUE;DB_CLOSE_ON_EXIT=FALSE)
 and a mysterious user (sa) database type DhisH2. This causes the system to 
loose all the data up on restart. This issue was raised by some one early this 
year but unfortunately i cannot find a solution. If anyone knows the solution, 
please support me.

good improvements to the DHIS2 application.Most of the apps are running well 
apart from the GIS app. It loads forever and cannot load its interface to 
enable me generate maps. Can someone please advise me if there is some 
configuration I need to enable first? I checked the demo site which is okay.

I just realized that when you create a program and define sections under
program stages, you are not able to define any program rules. When you click
the Add Source field, nothing happens and same applies to the actions
button. Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you.

[Dhis2-users] Tracker Capture Challenge - Cannot enroll tracked entity into a program

Dear DHIS2 community,

 

I have been trying to set up a tracker capture program but I have
experienced a challenge for the past few days which I am unable to resolve
and need your kind support.

 

I have already created the attributes, tracked entity, and program (with
registration, program stage and related data elements).

 

However whenever I go to tracker capture and register the tracked entity
attributes, the system does not link to/advance to the program stage (but
instead shows an interface that no program is selected as shown below).

 



 

After registration, this is what it displayed.

 



 

I am using DHIS2.23 and running the application through Mozilla browser.
