Stuart, I am probably extending your last question outside the UML universe and you intention... where (if at all) do you need to use shapes outside the UML set? I do all my work outside the UML set, and the beauty of Dia is its flexibility at a low level. I always need shapes outside the UML

Hi Stuart, Other than to write my own shapes This is the only way any shapes arise. Someone has to do it. Any shapes that are not present simply have not had a volunteer author. It is probably good to tell someone if you intend to work on a set, so there is no duplication while it is a work
