Could be this, anyhow ! I haven't tried (yet)With No text... I'll tell you Cyril

I could imagine this being caused by fonts being of different size on different platforms. Does this also happen when no text is involved? Seems to be ok without Text Ben is probably right in his explanation Cyril PS : this is really annoying with big UML diagrams... since I have to move every single class a little bit to correct the connection.

I could imagine this being caused by fonts being of different size on different platforms. Does this also happen when no text is involved? I have mainly used the UML elements when I discovered this, but I'm not sure if it occurred on every possible combination of migrating the files. (At the moment I'm a bit stuck with a half-empty brand new machine... so I have a lot to reinstall.) I.e., I observed it especially on the right edges of UML Class objects, but they definitely do involve fonts, as you point out. They also have the property that they determine their own size (depending on font?). I've read that those UML elements aren't scalable, cause their size is based on the length of the contained text, which depends on the screen res (for drawing and aproximation), the font name and the font size. I could not observe any such erraneous behavior in this simple test. (Not to say that it never occurs, though, this was just a very quick check.) So maybe you're right about the fonts, Lars! I DO think he is right ! Cyril

Could you send a small example diagram with this behaviour (preferably just one object that has wrong size)? If you send me one from the Windows machine, I should be able to see it, too. -Lars -- Lars Clausen (http://shasta.cs.uiuc.edu/~lrclause) | Hårdgrim of Numenor I do not agree with a word that you say, but I| Retainer of Sir Kegg will defend to the death your right to say it.| of Westfield --Evelyn Beatrice Hall paraphrasing Voltaire | Chaos Berserker of Khorne
