Hmm, yes, that's a nice idea.  Would you like to create a ticket at

Hi there,

Sorry for the lack of response --- thanks for sharing your problem and
solution!  The result looks nice.  Based on your experience, do you think
there are any general tools we could add to the diagrams standard library
that would have made the process easier?  Any things you had to calculate
manually which ought to be automated, etc.?
