Lisa Fithian and Scott from Common Ground were here in in Austin last night
to give a report on what's going on. My youngest sister just moved her
family to Texas so I don't have the same urgent need to be there. But I
hope to come back again in the spring.

I don't think the Increase Use of Computers = Improved Literacy. Bridging
the digital divide is not equal to improving literacy. It just means that
more people are using the computer for their daily activities. One still has
to get an education.
