I believe you have a virus and it trying to send out specific information. Some
anti-virus programs do not catch everything even when you do updates. Go to the

I have saw this sort of thing happen before.
Someone that has your email address has the virus and it is sending that message
to everyone in his address book

Yes, to both questions but in reality that would be asking a lot from
the software developers. Heck I don't care if I have to manually enter
the mode for any specific QSO, my current logging software does a great
job of automatically entering the mode from the approved ADIF mode list.
