successful, or hear my signal coming back. Power out is 30W

I'm also monitoring 14075 today for PAX2, if you care to try a
connect. I tried VE5MU but without success so far, just running a
dipole and 40 watts today/
Does anyone know how to fix the center frequency at 1000 for receive
or is it supposed to wander in PAX search mode ?

To whom it concerns,
in the PR APRS net running on 10.151 LSB there are again a few stations
who apparently do not know how to connect a TNC to a transmitter...
Can the people operating in this net do something about it? They are
splattering 3 kHz down, and make working PSKAPRS on 10.148
I uspect that the culprits may be using soundcard packet and over
driving. Alas, they are probably not aware of how nasty their signal
is. It might require several people monitoring 10.151 with software
that can detect wide signals in a waterfall, and then emailing the
offending operators.
Anyone for PAX2 on 40m or 80m? de KU2A in NH

Hello Dave,
TKS for the Windows references.
1 ms would be sufficient for Pactor 1 100 bauds, as a bit is 10 ms long.
Now, I wonder how transceivers can switch from RX to TX and TX to RX with
respect to the required precision (=1 ms) under the Pactor 1 protocol: 960
msec of TX frame and 290
absolutely. lets try 3610 USB after 0100 ? I'll set
up there early evening 7075 would be good, too.

Having trouble with Multipsk in PAX mode, when the

Although I was not able to connect with VE5MU, I did copy a few frames,
but not much of the below listed material.
I just don't think that PAX or PAX2 works much into the noise even
though Patrick does have some information that it can work down to -7 db
S/N or something like that.

Not enuff signal on this end John. I hear a PAX2 signal but it isn't
decoding. I'm running ~60w to an Inv Vee up 60' E/W on 7042 here.

Anyone running digital modes on these rigs?
TenTec 580 Delta (not the Delta II)?
Or *any* tube rig, perhaps with a VFO Stabilizer
added?
I need to add a backup rig to my FT-890at and
have to find something *very* affordable.
