Jon, when I saw your comments, I decided to download the necessary drivers and so on for Packet using MixW. I set it up in the Kiss mode and it works well. When I connect to other stations, I don't have a problem giving the necessary commands. I also have a Kantronics KAM XL and the KAM

well there realy isnt any need for a hardware tnc anymore mixw dos soundcard packet beter than a hardware tnc with the rigblaster and is much easier to use with the waterfall.Multipsk does a lot and is my favorite program for most digital but for 300/1200 baud packet mixw has no equal.73,Norm.

Interesting Norm. I get MixW to connect and do the normal functions but I guess it's my ignorance. I don't know how to set it up so that it will do all the things the TNC will do, I.E. Personal Mailbox, Store Messages for others, ect. Can you shed some light on what I need to do. Thanks
