Bill, What kind of RFI? The RFI was caused by the computer and picked up by the receiver. The noise level would rise a few S-units on HF when the unit was turned on. I tried two different desktops using an LCD monitor and the results were the same. One was a little noisier than the other.

Is your display LCD or CRT? In my experience, CRT displays are sometimes a major source.
