In Canada we are limited to 1000Hz bandwidth between 10.1 and 10.150MHz,
as per RBR-4. However, we are primary users of 30m and are allowed
1000W, if I read the regs right.

Yes Maik
It is a fast HF modem.
Could be data/text transfer,
but the long transmissions are not typical
of ARQ data transfer.
Probably digital voice 2-way comms.

Rick,
I noticed you trying to login. You have to login using your
callsign, 'kv9u', use your name as a password. Then at the JNOS
prompt type in 'conv'.

Don't know if I could learn the program and get the feel of the
mode in that time or not.
Oh well, thanks just the same Rick

Hi John,
I am just using MixW which I downloaded as a test at:
http://www.mixw.net/index.php?j=downloads
then a bit further down on the page is the q15x25dll. I used the latest
version.
Hearing some odd pulsing transmission like a sort of chug, chug, chug,
sound that pulses for a few seconds,
Where does one get the software?
Hello
Am i the the only operator having this QRM on 80mtrs right now (17:42 UTC) ?
Please look at DM780 screen dump, and listen MP3 file here:

I walked downwards and upwards in frequency (you can hear it on the MP3
file) down
to 3.568 MHz and up to 3.585 MHz to f
Q15X25 and other wide modes (voice communications bandwidth) are legal
here in the U.S., and if operated 10.140 to 10.150, also meet the IARU
Region 2 Band Plan recommendations (maximum 2700 Hz).
I am currently in contact with my wife for a couple of hours on HF (3620

I can hear the signals there but I have no software to use for this mode, sorry.

Hi Guys,
I'm hearing some Q15X25 on 14.109 USB now. It's around 10:30 am
central standard time. If anyone wants to, you can connect to my
JNOS system (telnet www.langelaar.net), then go into CONVERS, that
way we can chat as we go type of thing. I may not be around all of

That explains all the RTTY then. I was wondering about that.
Very strong signals here in Winnipeg, and they're all over the
