The bands don't seem to be dead from north central U.S. I have used WWV since I was around 12 years old and still do, almost on a daily basis. Right now I can just barely hear WWV on 20 MHz, but 15 is S9 +10 dB, 10 MHz is S9 + 30 dB, and 5 MHz is S9 + 10 dB. I consider those signals to be

You're going to have problems with 30M down because all transmissions are in USB. Best place for signals on 20M are around 14076-14078. On 30M 10139=10141 and 40M 7036-7039. Kim AB7JK --- In digitalradio@yahoogroups.com, Toby Burnett ruff...@... wrote: I know this is digi related group but

Last night I heard no signals at all on 40. I thought it was because of a solar flux of 68 and k index of 2. Today I'm not so sure what's going on. The band changes are supposed to begin March 29th. Maybe people are waiting for that. AB7JK --- In digitalradio@yahoogroups.com, Toby Burnett

Kim, For a dial scale for LSB, run DigiPan (www.digipan.net). In ConfigureBand, set the Spectrum Start frequency 3 KHz higher than the known watering holes, put a dot in LSB, and DigiPan will display the correct RF frequencies above the waterfall. For PSK31 on 20 meters, use a Spectrum Start

I use Pocket Digi on my iPaq 1940 pda and it works FB but I was wondering if anyone knew a pda device/smartphone which has audio input output available on a headphone jack? My iPaq only has output so for input I have to acoustically couple the sig which is not optimal. 73 Sholto K7TMG
