This is one of my favorite amateur radio drills. We listen to their freqs, they listen to ours and we set rigs accordingly for the frequency splits (A/B split). It looks like several military stations will be running MT63 durning the test but most are phone, RTTY and CW. They also transmit broadcast bulletins (a message from the Secretary of Defense to all participants). The bulletin is sent from different stations at different times and modes, including MT63. Besides being a great drill and practice should we need to intercommunicate with the military during a major emergency, the event is a lot of fun and is a great way to show our support for the military.
