I guess it's your version of Linux that is the problem, I use Ubuntu V6.06 and have several PC's with it. I also have two MP3+ USB sound card that I plug into a PC when I need additional sound card, it works fine on all PC's. I also have one with Suse V10.1 and it didn't have any issues with i
