Sorry Rick, I have never used WinDRM. Mainly due to the fact that I do
not use Windows as an OS platform. Also, it draws less power than

I did a loopback test with WinDRM, running two rigs and two computers. It
turns out that it was the 3.5mm MONO jack that connects the sound card audio
output to the rig.
I switched to a stereo jack and the noise vanished! It took a few hours to
find, but the hiss is now
