Role – Big Data Hadoop Architect Location: Milpitas(CA) No of positions : 1 Total experience 10-15 years *Brief JD: * 1) Thorough understanding on Big Data, Hadoop Eco system , hands on experience of 2 end-end Hadoop implementations and any certification for Hadoop would be preferred 2) Hands on with the toolsets –Hive, HBase , HDFS, Map Reduce, Sqoop , Spark SQL 3) Preferably worked as an Architect in Big Data solutions that involved Apache Hadoop, Cloudera. 4) Extensive experience in processing data using No SQL scripts and has experience in writing UDF's based on the requirements. 5) Ability to define solution architecture & provide end to end BI integration view 6) Any exposure on data Migration project using Hadoop ecosystems components from traditional data warehousing and BI system is preferred. 7) Proficiency in systems design, programming ,testing , implementation, documentation, training, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork 8) Understand the business requirements and be able to build relevant use cases and Hadoop applicability 9) Infrastructure understanding and sizing requirements 10) Code review, performance tuning of No SQL queries , 11) Coordinate and review Pre-production activities 12) Strong communication skills – verbal and written for both internal and external relationships. 13) Experience of working with RDBMS as well as No SQL database 14) Good knowledge on the concepts of Data Warehousing, Data Marts, Dimensional Modeling, Fact and Dimensional Tables.
