H1 transfer cases please do not submit.* *SCOPE OF WORK:* 1. Performs professional Database Administration work on Non-Production and Production CLIENT’s SQL and Oracle databases in the areas of design, development, installation, operation, maintenance and support. 2. Some of the key Administration work will be as follows: 3. Supports CLIENT’s strategic information technology goals and direction by serving as a technical lead on application database projects; designs, develops, implements and maintains the database systems. 4. Ensures CLIENT’s database systems meet and serve CLIENT’s current and future business needs; conducts feasibility and needs assessment studies; defines functional system requirements and specifications including conducting business process and data analysis; develops technical standards and procedures and system design; recommends improvements and modifications to new and existing database system software to improve business processes. 5. Maintains and operates systems; monitors and troubleshoots moderately complex problems using established processes and methods. 6. Assists in planning, reviewing and conducting work activities and researching required project information associated with department internal/external projects in accordance with established task objectives and schedule as outlined in the project plan/contract. 7. Performs related duties as required. *Mandatory Requirements:* 1. Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible relevant work experience in the design, development, implementation, maintenance and support of application databases utilizing MS SQL Server. 2. Minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible relevant work experience in the design, development, implementation, maintenance and support of application databases utilizing Microsoft Windows Server Clusters. *Desirable Qualifications:* 1. Three (3) or more years of progressively responsible relevant work experience in the design, development, implementation, maintenance and support of application databases utilizing Oracle. 2.
