Requisition Details:

Responsibilities:

• The Midstream Applications Support Analyst will be responsible for
providing technical support for Midstream IT systems. It involves all
aspects of application implementation and support for purchased and
in-house developed applications. The Midstream Applications Support Analyst
role supports systems that are critical to the daily cash flow of the
company, as well as supporting critical reporting to Government Agencies
such as the Internal Revenue Services, Federal Energy Regulatory
Commission, and the Energy Information Agency. Due to the criticality of
these systems and processes they support, the role requires strong
communication skills along with detail-oriented, technical support skills.
The Midstream Applications support team works in partnership with the
Pipelines Logistics team, the Pipelines & Terminals Accounting team, and
the Truck, Rail, and Freight Services teams to ensure all operational,
reporting, and accounting activities are completed in a timely and accurate
manner.
• The Midstream Applications Support Analyst will work closely with the
Midstream Business Partner Organization, Midstream Business units, and the
Midstream IT support team to understand the work processes and business
problems. The support analyst will help identify the appropriate solution
and coordinate all aspects of technical implementation. They are also
expected to deliver end-to-end support of all Midstream applications while
working closely with the leveraged IT service teams. The individual will be
front line support of daily operations. This responsibility includes
troubleshooting systems and looking for opportunities to improve systems
and processes. They will be responsible for designing and development of
break/fix, enhancements, and project efforts. These efforts include
thorough testing, change management, and documentation for the support
team’s application documentation repositories.

Qualifications - Basic/Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 3 to 5 plus years’ experience in application support
• Results-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong technical experience with developing Oracle packages, stored
procedures, and functions and/or developing Microsoft T-SQL
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or other IT related
• 5 to 10 plus years’ experience in application support, troubleshooting
and systems analysis
• Customer focused and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to
build relationships with vendors, business groups, and other internal
resources
• Ability to multi-task in a team environment and support internal and
external customers
• Ability to work through issues in a calm and organized manner
• Self-motivated and self-directed to solve problems quickly and creatively
• Expert level knowledge of Microsoft T-SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Proven experience with .NET, Crystal Reports, and Team Foundation Server
• Experience with the complete Systems Development Life Cycle.
