*Position: Senior Development Engineer Location: Minneapolis MN* *Duration: 6 Months* *Notes:* *CODE SAMPLE REQUEST FOR SUBMITTED CANDIDATES* *Please have candidate provide a code sample that demonstrates ability: - to load data into ElasticSearch and expose it via a Java REST endpoint - Use Gradle as the build tool and create a Docker image Candidate should upload code sample to GitHub and provide the link to their GitHub repository. Link must be included with candidate submission*. *SENIOR (10+ YRS OF EXPERIENCE)* • Develop and test code to deliver functionality that meets the overall business strategy and objectives • Build the work needed to implement features from the product backlog • Size user stories • Unit test code, create automated test scripts, and execute all other testing-related tasks • Test deliverables against a user story’s acceptance tests • Execute necessary project documentation • Work closely with other team to ensure that features meet business needs • Follow industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation • Work with infrastructure, security, and other partners • 3-5 years in an engineering role • 1-3 years participating in agile development • Scrum certification, a plus • Experience with test-driven development and software test automation • Deep experience working in an agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, etc.) *ADDITIONAL SKILLS REQUESTED:* • Strong Java development skills, including recent development with Java 8 and Spring Framework • Experience with Spring AMQP • ElasticSearch experience – should be able to discuss indexing strategy, search strategy, and infrastructure • Groovy language – should be fluent with Spock and basic Groovy language • Docker – should be able to create a Docker container for JAVA or Angular app • Gradle – should be able to create a custom gradle plugin/task Regards *Mayank* 978-558-4666 x 103 *may...@teknavigators.com* <may...@teknavigators.com> *TekNavigators LLC* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hot List" group.
