+1. I hate everything about the MS GUI. It adds nothing as far as I can see. The current OOo GUI is fine. There's no need to fix something that isn't broken, just to make it look sexy. What I want from LibreOffice is a quick, easy, usable office suite that just works. If we try to emulate MS we just look like "me too."
Lane & I can't be the only ones who feel this way. If we try to make a cool sexy UI, then please, please, retain the option to keep the UI that works. Just my thoughts.
