As for me, I use OO (soon, perhaps: LibO) and MO interchangeably. I save all my important personal and business files in .odt etc. format, and offer to my clients that they can receive their files in .odt format. Nevertheless, both reading and writing .docx etc. will remain a necessity for some time.
