I couldn't agree more :) Actually I think it would make a LOT more sense if applications for 2013 were opened AFTER the 2012 LibOCon ends. Maybe more people from different countries who go to the 2012 meeting see that it's not so hard after all and might submit their proposals. I think it's a good idea to promote diversity and interest in this project?
