I don't know, but even without it we're exposed to the Sun-MS patent
deal that was only covering StarOffice. Software patents are a shame,
and ought to be fought, so in our case it's cholera or malaria you're
choosing...

It has been long anticipated, and comes as no surprise.

In the short term, nothing changes. In the medium term what the effect
is, bad, neutral or good is unclear.

Either way - development-wise, LibreOffice is doing really extremely
well with non-Novell developers right now; so whatever happens should
not affect our viability as a project.
