This is a 'feature'/'bug fix' from Microsoft for the problems in IE6
with filters + clear type. They just simply remove it from the
affected text.

but I'll feign stupidity regardless.
I'm loading various DIVs on onclick ops using $.load, but the contents' fonts
are being displayed with sharp edges in IE and occasionally FF. I've seen
