I've added just three lines of code to the Interface plugin's Autocompleter to support a new parameter that is the name of a CSS class to apply to the lucky input field while performing an AJAX autocomplete call. This allows a "throbber" image to be used as the background of the input field, just like you might see in the newer versions of Drupal. As it is, there is no indication that an AJAX operation is happening at all. Is there any interest in this, such that it could be added to the Interface code base?
An enhancement would be to allow a throbber to be started and stopped on some arbitrary element, but I haven't gotten that far. m. _______________________________________________ jQuery mailing list discuss@jquery.com http://jquery.com/discuss/
