Actually, comments appreciated.
On the WSG one cannot post jobs, I thought here was ok, was just checking.

Basically when a client asks for a certain feature thats beyond my limited 
js knowledge then I will post request for estimate to the list.
The WSG (web standards group) has a separate place for that off list. 
Perhaps jquery will also down the road...

On the one hand you have to assume that if they did it they had their own 
reasons so it's a win-win.

On the other hand if someone gives you a big hand up on a paying project, it 
seems ethical to share the love!  And by love I mean money!

The one thing to AVOID is to start beating up people who are donating their 
time when you are hitting client deadlines!  I've seen this happen!  I think 
it's obnoxious and terrible style!!!
