Re: [IxDA Discuss] Sketching before the Wireframes

I think this has been wholly answered, but I'll add my two cents: - I always, always, always sketch first. I do a ton of sketching. It allows me to get all of my ideas out (the what if phase), and allows me to have more focus when I get into wireframing. Sketching is portable, cheap and fast.

Certainly, I face the multi-task project issue all the time at my current workplace. Though per week there is usually one focus project, overall I do find myself juggling 2-3 big projects (and managing a few smaller ones) at any given time. (If it helps in comparison purposes to contractors or

I find myself agreeing with Todd. I also think if we could develop 1 single tool that could do it all, and do if effortlessly or seamlessly, is the day we have to change our jobs ;) Of course, given that all technology in the past has never really 100% simplified our lives (think of the first

Great presentation Thomas, really like the work put into the piece! Though I love the concept, I vacillate on how useful workspaces would end up being for my particular habits. I tend to be one of those organized mess people at the start of any workflow; I'm fastest when I can dump a zillion

RSI issues will remain no matter what the input device (even if just gestural), since it's a catchall term. Treadmill-addicts, tennis pros, painters, truck drivers, all these people experience their own forms of repetitive strain injuries (rotater cuff injury, shin splints, neck strain, sciatica,

The biggest reason my company will not use voice recognition is because it reduces confidentiality of information, passwords, NDA items, etc. Unlike email, where you can restrict receipt to a select list of people, sound will travel. And it's unreasonable to give us separate offices or require us
