I've gown up/lived in the UAE for a good 2 decades. I'd say the level of awareness of IxD and usability related practices is negligible to almost zero. Most firms would prefer a nice/fancy/dynamic looking website to a website with well implemented IA and Ix. The situation could have changed in the
