I'm searching for any solid information about the importance of UX/UI/Visual
Design disciplines.
I'm especially interested in information about:
• The ROI it generates (I think Cooper and Nielsen referred to this kind of
info)
• Its strategic role (as innovation generator, as strategic guide)
• Its important position in the organization, as represented in the
organization hierarchy (i.e. VP Design), and the number of designers
compared to other professionals in the organization

Any supporting info will be good: case studies (of known companies),
surveys, presentations, movies, etc.
