I'm searching for any solid information about the importance of UX/UI/Visual Design disciplines. I'm especially interested in information about: • The ROI it generates (I think Cooper and Nielsen referred to this kind of info) • Its strategic role (as innovation generator, as strategic guide) • Its important position in the organization, as represented in the organization hierarchy (i.e. VP Design), and the number of designers compared to other professionals in the organization
