Interns needed immediately to build and maintain a membership website for a new startup company.
The membership website will be built using Drupal and we are looking for both UX design and technical students to help design and build the site. Ideally, we are looking for students experienced with UX principles and capable of doing technical development with Drupal modules and PHP, however students skilled in only UX design or technical development will be considered. Additionally, the student will ideally be active in the IxDA and attending school in the Chicago area. Agile based experience is also a plus as this project will leverage SCRUM and other Agile principles. Interns should be available a minimum of 10 hours a week and be available for regularly scheduled daily SCRUMs. This is a non-paying internship, but we are willing to work with a university internship/co-op program to ensure that interns receive appropriate school credit. Also willing to write letters of recommendation and provide strong reference for successful interns.
