I would like to bring up the idea of accepting microdonations
as general donations to OSGeo:

Given the success of OSM, Wikipedia and others in that area of
fund-rising I don't see a reason

Thanks Bob,
that $wgLogo is just the default mediawiki Logo, it says how to replace
it with your own picture in the mediawiki settings.
I was just to lazy to set up a own logo, because that wiki is (for now)
just for testing. ;-)
