I would like to develop an algorithm that uses remote geographic sensing
data to automatically identify, highlight, and measure rooftops and
buildings surfaces and contours using Geospatial data. My preference is to
overlay the results on one of the existing map providers such as
+1 for this nomination.
I have worked with him in InaSafe/OSM related activities here in Sri
Lanka.
He is extremely energetic, never get tired when he is doing OSM/GeoNode
work and very importantly advocates open source initiatives in difficult
situations.
He has excellent capacity to link
Thanks for adding this to the Board agenda Eli (your draft text looks
good), I agree it makes sense to keep Charter Members aware of this,
even though it is unlikely to happen.

Chaitanya is a cool FOSS GIS programmer and promoter. He is quite a popular
trainer at FOSS4G India 2012.
He helped in developing web-gis for Rajahmundry GIS project, with indic
translation.
OSGeo will be enriched with Chaitanya on it's charter.

photographs, among others by a research group at my University. I have cc-d

Nomination period for the OSGeo Charter Members elections have
finished. I've extended a grace period of 12 hours but we can't wait
more. So I'm really sorry for those that haven't confirmed their
nominations.
Doing this process in July/August is not the best time to assure most
of people
(Two threads got started for this topic, so we've copying the other thread
over here. I've also added a little reply to Sid's new post at the end.)
