A good time to remind projects that OSGeo has its own hosted Git services, based on Gitea: https://git.osgeo.org which needs to be promoted more (it's a nice option for FOSS projects). You can sign-in with your OSGeo ID (create an ID at https://id.osgeo.org/ldap/create) -jeff -- Jeff McKenna President Emeritus, OSGeo Foundation http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Jeff_McKenna On 2018-06-04 2:18 PM, SERGIO ACOSTAYLARA wrote: https://blog.github.com/2018-06-04-github-microsoft/ Sergio Acosta y Lara Departamento de Geomática Dirección Nacional de Topografía Ministerio de Transporte y Obras Públicas URUGUAY (598)29157933 ints. 20329/20330 http://geoportal.mtop.gub.uy/ ___ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.osgeo.org https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss

[OSGeo-Discuss] Collection of events via CAL attachments to email list posts.
All, Anyone have any idea about how a event collection system might be put together for harvesting of CAL postings to each of the OSGeo Lists? Just a wild thought about how this might be done. maybe there is already a way to do this. The need as I see it, is that the current setup seems a bit cumbersome. with the ability to post a event to and OSGeo list and have it automatically collected for event posts would help out with promotion aspects a lot IMO. Anyway, just a though . . . The event postings could still go through vetting before being officially sanctioned, the process would just be more streamlined. bobb "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” - Mahatma Gandhi ___ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.osgeo.org https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
