It is great to see so much discussion about what our standard as a
community are for defining a successfully event.
I would suggest that we codify our goals towards diversity and inclusion
into the Code of Conduct (CoC). This would make it clearer about what
values we as a community
Congratulations on getting this done. I am sure there were many hours put
into this.

spatial community in Boston for over a decade

I also saw a presentation earlier this year that tries to explain open by
default as a positive for evil capitolists. Which is an interesting take on
this, but also compelling as far as making adopter feel that this is not
just about morals.
