Dear all, One more update. Due to some technical problems, the invitations to vote were delayed until last Thursday. What we propose to you is to extend the nomination seconding period until 28th of October (10 days instead of one week as it was originally planed). CRO will update the dates on the wiki pages. We would like to thank the SAC for all the help in setting up the electronic voting system and enable invitations/reminders via email. Hi Sergio, I just returned from the FOSS4G-GOV event in Brasilia and I nominated several leaders from that region. I am aware of leaders being nominated from Argentina and Nicaragua as well. I feel bad about this because I would have liked to be more active in the election process and being busy with other tasks I forgot about the dates. I was planning to introduce strongly GeoForAll Iberoamérica in these elections so as to have more charter members from this region. My apologies for not being able to do it.
