[OSGeo-Discuss] FW: GSoC 2015 @ OSGeo results presented at FOSDEM - our report

2016-02-05 Thread Suchith Anand
Hi Madi, Hi all,

Great to hear about OSGeo presented at FOSDEM. Can we please have this included
as a short report for next issue of Geo4All newsletter. Our newsletter is the
OSGeo's outreach to new communities and users so an excellent way to
exponentially expand our userbase. Our newsletter is being send out to
thousands of readers through different external maillists and communities.

I also request the OSGeo community to please send any reports, articles on
OSGeo activities happening (events you are presenting) to the newsletter
editors.

Also we want to hightlight OSGeo SMEs and service providers
http://www.osgeo.org/search_profile?SET=1 in our newsletter. It will be free
promotion for your company as well as get the wider community know about the
excellent companies that make the OSGeo ecosystem and encourage more startups .
So please email Nikos [email- labri...@eled.auth.gr ] a short article about
your company and how OSGeo software has been enabling your growth . We will get
it published in our newsletter.

We will also be highlighting one OSGeo software project /community every month
[from the OSGeo live DVD]

Best wishes,

Suchith
