Jack works as a geospatial web engineer on increasing access to 
geospatial data at the Stanford Libraries. A contributor to 
open-source software, Jack is active in the geospatial, library, and 
open data communities. He is co-founder of the GeoBlacklight and 
OpenGeoMetadata open source projects which aim to provide better 
geospatial data discovery tools and metadata sharing.


Jack frequently attends FOSS4G conferences and was part of this years 
spontaneous BoF for data librarians at FOSS4G Boston.
