Hi all, have a few minutes a week to help post news/events on the OSGeo website? Frank and I usually take care of these items but could use a bit of help to keep things running smoothly.
There is a (volunteer) opportunity for at least one person to help out in the role of OSGeo News Editor. The job is quite simple, posting news/events information that are sent in and usually consists of a few postings per week. Posting the information on the website is quite easy and uses a few simple forms. Most of the time all the info to be posted is sent in by other members and is simply copied over (e.g. you don't have to be a writer :-) ) If you're interested, drop a note to news_i...@osgeo.org and say hello.
