Not sure if it's related, but when I set-up my SB2 (WPA enabled), DHCP
didn't work either. I was keen to get it set up so just allocated an

Thanks to Robert's complete Czech SlimServer translation I became aware of
a problem in the upload part of the StringEditor.pm plugin. It would often
time out and cut-off large parts of the translated file.
Please update to the latest version 1.4 which fixes this major and some

Thanks, I'll have a play with them tomorrow. They look as if they're
doing exactly what I'm trying to do at one stage, and in the same way

Hi
Just wanted to comment on how well the newer versions of slim are
performing. I was running 6.0.2 for a while, mostly cause' I was just
being lazy. Recently started back on the nightlys and wow! I can't
believe the increased performance of the web interface and the menus on
the SB.
Thanks

yes, soon. I'm going to test this a bit more and make sure it's really
the ideal fix - but it seems to work perfectly for me. I just wanted to
get something out quickly for the guys who are hearing this.

We'll do it for you no charge under warranty (you pay shipping to us,
we cover shipping back to you).
If you want to do it yourself the parts are about $0.02
Don't sweat it...I don't expect a price drop in the UK for the wireless
unit. That price has been edging down on it's own.

Well, the plan is that the headphone jack on SB2 will be able to
drive an IR blaster.
That way the remote doesn't have to change, but SlimServer will be
able to send whatever kind of IR you'd like
